The One Ring RPG nominated for Origins Award

origins_awards_nomineeseal300-300x300-7200143The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design has announced their list of nomminees for the 38th annual Origin Awards, and The One Ring: Adventures Over the Edge of the Wild is nominated for Best Role-Playing Game! The Origin Award is regarded by many to be the highest award in the table-top gaming industry, with nominees chosen by retailers earlier in the year based on innovation in game design and high production values. Past Origin award winners have included Middle-earth Strategic Gaming, The Dresden Files Role-Playing game, Mage: The Ascension and Dungeons and Dragons.

Those attending the Origins Game Fair convention will have an opporunity to vote for the winners. Origins Game Fair is held from May 30th – June 3rd at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Cubicle 7 Publishing also received nominations for their steampunk role-playing game Airship Pirates and their Cthulhu Britannica supplement Shadows over Scotland. Congratulations to all the nominees!
