The Contract of Bilbo Baggins – Prop Replica
Hand made by calligrapher and artist Daniel Reeve, who made the iconic original contract used in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, this is an absolutely authentic prop replica. His craft is indeed a rare one and this is a prop replica the likes of which few have seen.
Each exquisite 4’7” x 2’2” (141cm x 66cm) piece of art is the work of one man and totally unique. Its dimensions rolled up are 9in x 4.5in x 2.2in (23cm x 11cm x 5.5cm)
Available in strictly limited supply and always subject to the artist’s availability, the Contract of Bilbo Baggins will be shipped direct from Weta in New Zealand, tied with a ribbon, rolled up in a plain cardboard box. Included are also instructions for how to roll up the contract after use.
The contract comes with a printed Certificate of Authenticity signed by hand by Daniel Reeve. Not that we think it’s likely anyone would attempt forgery…

Thorin’s Map is an exquisite piece of art from the 3 Foot 7 Art Department.

Daniel Reeve’s craft is indeed a rare one and this is a prop replica the likes of which are few and far between. Each individual map is the work of one man and totally unique.
Available in strictly limited supply and always subject to the artist’s availability, Thorin’s Map will be shipped direct from Weta in New Zealand and includes a printed Certificate of Authenticity signed by hand by Daniel Reeve. It ships folded in a vinyl bag in a plain cardboard box for protection.
Thorin’s Map – Parchment Art Print
Every great adventure needs a treasure map and in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the map was created by Thror, grandfather of Thorin Oakenshield.
It contains not only the lay of the land, but also detailed instructions. Some clear as day, some concealed.
Designed and drawn by Daniel Reeve of the 3 Foot 7 art department who created the original prop for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Weta’s map has been made from a scan of the original and printed in Middle-earth (New Zealand) on finest Italian Marina Conchiglia parchment paper.
Thorin’s Map – Parchment Art Print is a treat to behold and the die-cut edges add to the feeling of authenticity.
Floor Plan of Bag End – Parchment
Like any good Hobbit abode (and this is one of the best) about a third of the available floor space at Bag End is devoted to the storage, preparation and subsequent consumption of food.
Much of the remaining floor plan is devoted to quiet pursuits, following the gentle topography of The Hill. There’s a parlour and a smoking room, all connected by a multitude of halls and passage ways.
The owner, one Bilbo Baggins, likes guests as much as the next Hobbit and Bag End therefore only holds one guest room. Troublesome things, guests…

Weapons
Axes of Dwalin the Dwarf
A Dwarf warrior of great renown among his people, Dwalin the Dwarf, son of Fundin, was proficient with arms of all kinds, but when laying blows swiftly and against many adversaries at close quarters, he liked nothing better than the two single-handed axes he wore crossed upon his back. Named Ukhlat and Umraz, the short-hafted axes were simple in shape, wide in blade and heavy in head. Upon their broad faces their Khuzdul names were carved in runes.
Dwalin’s Axes were created for the film by the artists at Weta Workshop. Incredibly tough, yet safer than sharpened steel blades, they have been finished to a standard that can confidently be displayed in 3D, high resolution, at 48 frames per second in the finished movie.
These prop replicas have been created from molds of the original weapons used in the film, using the same high impact urethane material as the props on set and finished using the same techniques and materials.

A Dwarf of independent spirit and inclinations, Nori the Dwarf was accustomed to relying on himself and trusting his own resourcefulness to overcome the challenges that his adventures occasionally presented. To that end, he was never a Dwarf to be caught without that most versatile of tools, a short, sharp knife.
Indeed, he carried a number on his person, secreted or worn openly, among them a short, broad bladed, double-edged design that fit snugly into his palm and could be drawn or concealed in the blur of a seemingly innocent gesture.

The Key to Erebor – Sterling Silver
Few escaped the fire of the Dragon Smaug when he fell with death and ruin upon the Dwarf realm of Erebor beneath the Lonely Mountain. Even fewer expected to find King Thror or his son Thrain among the survivors, but against all hope the Longbeards had escaped the sack of the city by way of a secret passage.
Centuries later, the precious key to this back door to the mountain kingdom would find its way into the hands of Thorin Oakenshield, grandson of Thror and the heir to Erebor, and with it, hope of restoring his thone.
The Key to Erebor Pendant is a miniature of The Key to Erebor as designed by Concept Art Director John Howe. Made from Sterling Silver that has been oxidized to achieve an aged look, this piece is both a beautiful miniature prop replica and gorgeous piece of jewelry.
The Key to Erebor Sterling Silver Pendant comes in a beautiful gift box made from natural Cherry timber. The inside bottom of the box is lined with burgundy velvet and has a pin for the pendant to hang off.
Weta Workshop also offers The Key to Erebor prop replica. It has been cast in metal (Zinc Alloy) from molds of the original prop taken directly from the 3 Foot 7 Art Department and comes on a stand made of polyurethane.
The One Ring – Gold Plated Tungsten Carbide (Without Elvish Runes)
Weta is pleased to be working with Jens Hansen Gold & Silversmith to produce Gollum‘s precious ring in gold plated Tungsten Carbide.
It’s crafted to the exact shape, thickness and proportions of the other rings Jens Hansen has created for Weta. The 18K gold plating and the significant weight of the Tungsten Carbide now ensures that you can get your own Preciousss that looks and feels absolutely right.
This gorgeous piece of jewellery is completely smooth and comes without Elvish runes. If you prefer to have a ring with with Elvish runes, we recommend The One Ring – Gold Plated Tungsten Carbide from The Lord of the Rings with Elvish Runes.
The ring comes in a wooden gift box made from natural Cherry timber which can be displayed open thanks to an ingenious and almost invisible elastic hinge or closed with a strong rare-earth magnet. Weta continues the legacy of producing finely crafted, highly detailed 1/6 scale collectible polystone statues from Middle-earth. The essence of each character expertly captured in every piece.
A proud and noble Dwarf of resolute character and stern bearing, Thorin Oakenshield™ is the grandson of Thror of the line of Durin and heir to lost throne of Erebor. In time he would form a company of Dwarves, thirteen in number and at the Wizard Gandalf’s insistence, reluctantly employ the services of the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins, setting out for The Lonely Mountain with dreams of gold and glory.
Beset by enemies and misfortune, Thorin Oakenshield and his party would lose much along the way, but one prize the grim-faced Dwarf was pleased to lay hands upon early in his journey was the mighty sword, Orcrist™, a famous blade of Elven make and well suited to be carried by a king, if one yet in want of a kingdom.
Thorin Oakenshield was sculpted by Scott Spencer.
The statue also comes in an Exclusive Edition that includes Thorin Oakenshield‘s shield at his side. This was originally launched at San Diego Comic-Con and is exclusively available in person at our Weta Cave store in Wellington, New Zealand or at Ring-Con in Germany 5-7 October 2012.
A quiet life in the sleepy gardens of The Shire was all Bilbo Baggins ever knew that he wanted, but when his home is invaded by thirteen rowdy Dwarves and the Wizard Gandalf, the gentleman Hobbit finds himself enlisted as a burglar on a perilous quest across Middle-earth’s Wilderland to reclaim treasure from a dragon. An adventurous spirit is not a quality prized among Hobbit folk, so the formerly respectable Bilbo Baggins’s sudden departure comes as much as a surprise to him as it is to his neighbours. He blames it on the Tookish blood in his veins. That side of the family was always the most odd and taken to unhobbity impulses of curiosity.
And indeed Bilbo Baggins will come to count on every ounce of Took in him to save himself and his companions once the journey begins. Middle-earth is a dangerous place and the Company in which he travels is of a kind that attracts unwanted attention. If Bilbo Baggins returns from this quest alive, he will not be the same Hobbit who ran from his front door, having forgotten his pocket handkerchief.

Wandering Middle-earth’s winding paths is the travelling conjurer Gandalf, known by many names to many peoples in many lands, though few could guess the true extent of his powers or purpose. His fireworks may delight many a Hobbit youngster, but the Grey Wizard is no mere magician or trickster. Gandalf is old beyond reckoning and wise the reach of mortal men. Where Middle-earth’s lords and kings brood over the fortunes of their realms, Gandalf’s gaze is cast across a wider canvas and it is the greater good of all the world’s free peoples that he is concerned with.
Needless are none of the acts of the Wizard, so when he councils Dwarf king in exile Thorin Oakenshield to enlist the services of Mister Bilbo Baggins as a burglar in his quest to reclaim his birthright from the dragon Smaug, it is done with a keen insight into the sheltered Hobbit’s qualities and an understanding of how crucial these will be to their success. The Hobbit impresses Thorin Oakenshield little upon their first meeting, but, despite his misgivings, the Dwarf knows enough ofGandalf to credit him with good reasoning, and indeed it will not be long before Bilbo Baggins’s mettle is tested and the Wizard’s wisdom proven.
