The Hobbit Tops Ticket Sales

Deadline.com reports that The Hobbit tickets sales have taken top spot.

Fandango statistics have revealed that the first Peter Jackson Hobbit installment has taken 33% of total sales so far, and the movie doesn’t release for another month. This is quite an achievement as The Hobbit is competing with such juggernauts as James Bond’s Skyfall, and Breaking Dawn Part 2. With this surge of online sales, The Hobbit knocked the latest Bond movie to second place which is playing in theaters now. This is promising news as many have said that they expect ticket sales of The Hobbit to beat the sales taken in by Avatar.
