Emil Johansson, creator of the Tolkien website LotrProject, was invited to TEDxGöteborg to speak about how his geeky web project has changed his life. LotrProject was published in January this year and has been receiving attention for its extensive Middle-Earth genealogy, timeline and demographics. In the talk Emil tells us how the project which he thought would lead nowhere opened a new world and proved to be a catalyst for his creativity.
