USA Today acquired a brand new clip of the recently-cancelled animated series, and it promises to be an amazing story arc involving Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, Jedi Master Plo Koon, and the origin of the clone army. Several arcs were planned out and produced before the surprising cancellation, so there is still hope that at least some characters and storylines will be given closure (many fans are hoping for that closure to go to Ahsoka after she voluntarily walked away from the Jedi Order at the end of season 5). No word has yet been given how the final arcs will be released, either on television, on demand, or direct-to-DVD.
Although the future of the TV series is uncertain at this juncture with Lucasfilm being bought by Disney last October, the Star Wars franchise is far from finished. 2015 will see the release of the first feature-length film in ten years (Revenge of the Sith came out in 2005), followed each year by at least five other films.
Glad to see some contributors start writing for Legendarium…Great job Michelle! We would love to have more!
Thanks! I’ll keep my eyes open for more awesome news!
I haven’t seen the clone wars but this looks really cool!
It is such a great show! I was hooked with just one episode and immediately bought the first four seasons (and marathoned them all in a couple weeks).
