Riddick actor, Vin Diesel, just posted an interesting and very telling picture to his Facebook page. Is this a hint that he will be in the new Avengers movie?
The picture was accompanied by a sly post. So many possibilities. Will he play a hero or a villain? I think he would make an amazing villain! With that voice and his presence, I can see him in the role of Thanos!
For those that stayed until the end of the credits for the first Avengers movie will remember, we were treated to a short scene with a smiling glimpse of Thanos. Said whedon of the inclusion of Thanos in the first Avengers,
“He [Thanos] for me is the most powerful and fascinating Marvel villain. He’s the great grand daddy of the badasses and he’s in love with death and I just think that’s so cute. For me, the greatest Avengers was THE AVENGERS annual that Jim Starlin did followed by THE THING 2 in 1 that contained the death of Adam Warlock. Those were some of the most important texts and I think underrated milestones in Marvel history and Thanos is all over that, so somebody had to be in control and had to be behind Loki’s work and I was like ‘It’s got to be Thanos.’ And they said ‘Okay’ and I’m like ‘Oh my God!’”
Time will tell along with the sequels to the Avengers cast members as they return to their “solo” roles. Keep your eyes open for hints and above all…STAY UNTIL THE END OF THE CREDITS!
