Word from writer/producer David S. Goyer and actor Henry Cavill is that the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight will be teaming up (FINALLY) on the big screen as early as 2015. Zack Snyder will also direct and co-write the much-longed-for film. Though they didn’t slip anything revealing past that tidbit, Goyer did say that the backlash surrounding Zod’s fate at the end of Man of Steel will be handled in the sequel.
According to Goyer: “To a certain extent, Superman, cinematically, hadn’t been reinvented since the Donner films. We will be dealing it with the coming film. He’s not fully formed in [Man of Steel]. He will have to deal with the repercussions in the next film.”
