Alfonso Cuarón, director of acclaimed films such as Children of Men, Y Tu Mamá También and one of the best Harry Potter films, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is directing new science fiction thriller called Gravity. The synopsis is brief but intriguing: After an accident that results in their space shuttle exploding two astronauts find themselves running out of oxygen and must figure out how to survive. Odds are slim that they will survive.
Gravity is set to be released in theaters October 4, 2013.
