As of this writing there isn’t a lot of solid proof of this news, but if it turns out to be true I think a lot of people will be very pleased. Schmoeville is reporting that Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights, The Wire, Fruitville Station) has been cast as Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four reboot due out in 2015.

What do you guys think? Do you think this is a good casting choice, or should the FF franchise be given a few more years to forget the first two movies?

  1. That logo looks like its off a local news van. They should work on that.

As for the casting: What does this mean for his sister Sue Storm?

  2. Michael B. Jordan was a great actor. he did his amazing preformance in Chronicle and Fruitville Station but playing the human torch in the Fantastic Four movie for him would be a disaster. We protest fox to get rid of him.

  3. In a universe where a man can stretch like rubber, a man is basically built like a brick house, another man is able to be a human torch and a women that can be become invisible, the biggest concern the geek universe has asked so far is, how can him and Sue be brother and sister?

    As if–

    they’ve never heard of adoption
    bi racial kids
    half siblings
    or parents re-marrying
