DISPLAYED AT TIFF BELL LIGHTBOX

In celebration of the upcoming release “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” Warner Bros. Pictures Canada and TIFF have unveiled an exclusive wardrobe display showcasing garments as seen in the film located in the atrium of TIFF Bell Lightbox.
Starting today through January 6th, Hobbit fans will be able to view the authentic costumes of Radagast the Wizard, Balin and Gloin inside TIFF Bell Lightbox located at 350 King Street West. Direct from the set in New Zealand the beautifully intricate costume display is a Canadian exclusive and a must-see for any Middle-earth enthusiast.
Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a variety of Middle-earth inspired items from the TIFF Shop including official movie guides and limited-edition collectable mugs.
The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventures of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” is a production of New Line Cinema and MGM, with New Line managing production. Warner Bros Pictures is handling worldwide theatrical distribution, with select international territories as well as all international television distribution being handled by MGM.
“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” opens nationwide on Friday December 13, 2013.
