The world seems to be in a tizzy what with the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special on November 23 and Catching Fire released the day before, but what about Star Trek? You know, that thing you almost forgot existed until JJ Abrams brought it back into the mainstream?
Well, it’s back again!
Star Trek: Renegades follows the Voyager storyline and, more specifically, Commander Tuvok. Tim Russ, Walter Koenig, Robert Picardo, Adrienne Wilkinson, and several other well-known actors will be starring in the pilot episode with the hopes of turning Renegades into a full webseries. This project was fully backed by Kickstarter and IndieGoGo campaigns, once again proving the power of crowdfunding to produce quality entertainment when the big studios decide to pass.
