Star Magazine is reporting that the former co-stars of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Liv Tyler and Orlando Bloom, are rumored to be dating.
This recent rumor, according to the Star report, comes from a witness who saw Tyler and Bloom as they attended [separately] a New York production of Waiting for Godot starring another of their former Lord of the Rings co-stars Ian McKellen. The eyewitness told Star Magazine that “When they got behind closed doors [backstage], they were playfully tickling, gazing into each other’s eyes and holding hands.”
According to The DailyMail, “Their reported antics are understood to have continued at an after-party, held in Manhattan’s Bryant Park Grill…”
Bloom’s spokesperson has denied the rumor stating. “There is no truth to this.”, reports MailOnline.
This recent rumor only adds to the speculation that the couple are dating. In September, Tyler attended Bloom’s Broadway production of “Romeo and Juliet” where she was also reported going back stage to catch up.
It was only a month ago that Orlando Bloom announced his separation from model Miranda Kerr, essentially ending their 3 year marriage.
I believe that the media is overreacting. Let’s remember. The cast of the Lord of the Rings trilogy worked for a very long time together and became great friends from the experience. The rush to two friends supporting each others projects being turned into an affair is a stretch.
What do you think? Are they just close friends or are the reports true? Let us know in the comments.
