Rebel Force Radio has added a new show to their feed. It’s called Star Wars Oxygen: The Music of John Williams. It’s a monthly show featuring David Collins, host at Star Wars Celebrations IV, V, and VI. Collins also worked for LucasArts as lead sound designer and voice director with its video game division and he served as an actor and voice actor for Lucas Arts as well.
In this monthly show David brings film score fans a close listen into John Williams’s iconic music from every Star Wars film, provides influences for each track, and interview highlights with George Lucas, John Williams and more. The series started off in November with a focus on some motifs from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope!
Filmscore and soundtrack fans would definitely appreciated such a show. I’ve been enjoying it immensely. Check it out!
