Earlier this week it was revealed that the upcoming expansion to the popular MMO, Star Trek Online, would be adding some faces fans of the TV series might recognize. Already announced, via the Delta Rising reveal in Las Vegas last month, was that Star Trek: Voyager alum Garret Wang (Harry Kim) would reprise his role in STO. Later it was announced that Tim Russ would join the game playing Tuvok once again.
Revealed this week are some more Voyager alums joining the STO crew: Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), and Robert Picardo (The Doctor). Delta Rising is set 32 years after the events of Voyager and bring the players to the Delta Quadrant. Delta Rising will partner players with the crew of the Voyager to explore this mysterious stretch of the universe made available through an Iconian Gateway.
Star Trek Online is a free-to-play massively multiplayer RPG set in the iconic Star Trek universe. Players can forge their own destinies and become the captains of their own Federation starship, or become a fearsome Klingon warrior bringing renown to the Empire.
