There’s a part of me that wishes the animation would reflect the utterly beautiful simplicity of the text…but it’s hard to tell with such a short trailer. I’m afraid animation has a modern tendency to strive to top whatever has come before; subtlety isn’t usually the goal. But it might be a wonderful film—I hope so.
