Techland’s Dying Light has been making a little news this week, though not for some of the best reasons. The game is slated to release next Tuesday, but some people have been wondering if this was still to be the case.
Techland released information regarding the target date for Dying Light. Here are the dates, as broken down by the Zombie game dev:
- PC Digital Worldwide release – Jan 27
- North & South America Digital and Physical PC, Xbox One and PS4 – Jan 27
- Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia Digital Xbox One and PS4 – Jan 28
- Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia Physical Release – Feb 27
All physical copies of the Dying Light preorder will be given two DLC packs for free: the “Cuisine and Cargo” and “Ultimate Survivor Bundle.” Additionally, the “Be the Zombie” mode, which at one point was a preorder incentive, will be free to all players as a thank you from Techland. To replace this, players who previously preordered Dying Light will be given additional weapon dockets.
Check out the latest gameplay video from the developers on the Dying Light YouTube page. Dying Light is a first person parkour zombie survival game. Players will need to master their skills in all areas such as combat, parkour and others in order to survive the night. Developed by Techland, Dying Light is set to be one of the more beautifully rendered zombie games on the market. This was so important that the Warsaw-based developer cancelled the originally planned last-gen versions of the game in order to bring the highest quality experience to the other platforms.
