HobbitCon 3: Middle-Earth Returns to Germany!

The third German Convention to the Hobbit movies

Past December, part three of the eagerly awaited adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s novel The Hobbit, titled The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, has been released. The movie can be referred to as an opulent cinematic work, which will in no way be inferior to The Lord of the Rings. Peter Jackson is the director again and also responsible for the Hobbit-filming.

In honour of this special occasion, FedCon GmbH proudly presents the second huge RingCon – Special at Easter 2015: The Hobbit Convention – There and back again. A special, which will the Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany converted into a huge Hobbit-Cave with lots of decoration, fans and visitors in costumes, kiosks and sponsoring booths and many other activities concerning the topic of The Hobbit.

The star guests will answer questions asked by the fans and visitors concerning the Hobbit movies and other topics on stage in the main hall of the Maritim Hotel in the popular Q&A sessions, the so called Panels. In addition to that, we will also organize the well-liked autograph- and photo-sessions. All participants will be able to take home long-lasting memories of a fantastic convention with great star guests.

But the RingCon Special HobbitCon 3 offers far more than just star guests:

At Hobbit Convention, the popular lectures, readings, discussions, verbal disputes and workshops concerning The Hobbit and J.R.R. Tolkien will be held. The first announcements have been made, further announcements are coming soon, stay tuned.

There will also be exhibitions, dealers, sponsoring booths, fans in costumes, initiatives from fans for fans and much more to bring the flair of Middle Earth into the Maritim Hotel.

In addition to that, we will organize the popular and much-loved Convention-parties with DJ’ing and live music, to celebrate the Convention evening until the early morning hours.
