Just a couple of weeks ago SyFy officially announced they picked up the production of Magicians, a new television adaptation of Lev Grossman’s bestselling 2009 fantasy novel of the same name. Now we already have a first look into the 12 episode television series in a new trailer!
The trailer offers a glimpse of Quentin Coldwater, Julia, Brakebills University, and even the original Fillory books. If the actors look a bit too old to be playing 17 year olds it’s because the producers have actually aged up the characters so that they’re graduate students instead of freshman in college.
