Arrow-S5 Episode 3- A Matter of Trust

In this episode we see Cody Rhodes make his highly publicized appearance as Derek Sampson. Derek is a drug dealer who manufactures and traffics the drug Stardust. Evelyn and Wild dog get themselves into trouble when they scout the location of Derek’s warehouse. A fight ensues between him and Derek. Derek is killed but later returns from the dead as a Super human.

The new team challenges Oliver at every turn. They are starting to trust each as well as Oliver. Not sure if the team will last but we will see. To show the team he is beginning to trust them Oliver shows them the Arrow cave.

Thea tells Oliver she is resigning from her position because he needs someone that can do the job. She blames herself for the way the press is talking about Oliver and how poor of a job he is doing as mayor. He refuses to let her resign and owns up to the fact he has been doing a poor job and will be changing that. He starts by announcing that Quentin Lance will be the new Deputy Mayor after all.

Now that Ragman has joined the team, the issue of Havenrock surfaces. Felicity tells Rory that she was the one that redirected the rocket that killed his parents. He walks off without saying a word. We will see in upcoming episodes how this will play out.

In next week’s episode Oliver agrees to break Diggle out of prison. The team tries to stop him.
