Supernatural- S12 Episode 2- Mamma Mia
Dean, Castiel, and Mary have a lead on where Sam might be. Castiel is out looking for places where he could be. Meanwhile Dean and Mary are working on the lead from the bunker. It is still awkward between Dean and his mom. Castiel calls Dean and tells him that he knows where Sam is. It is heavily warded and he can’t get inside but he knows that is where Sam is. Dean then tries to get Mary to stay at the bunker but she insists on going. Dean relents and they head out the location.
Meanwhile, Toni is still torturing Sam to get information on other hunters. He won’t give in and tell her. Then someone named Mick calls and tells her that he’s there to take her back to England, and she’s not happy. By the end of the phone call, Dean and Mary have shown at the farmhouse and Dean gets himself caught because of one of the wards. Sam is shocked to see Dean is alive, and Dean tells him he’ll give him the full story after they deal with Toni. He finds out Mary is alive after she sneaks in and starts fighting with Toni, and then Mick makes his presence known to everyone and explains who he is and that Toni is leaving with him.

Crowley gets a tip on where Lucifer might be. Guest star Rick Springfield makes his first appearance as rock star Vince Vincente. He agrees to let Lucifer use him as a vessel. Crowley tracks down Rowena and makes her help him deal with Lucifer. Rowena casts a spell to paralyze Lucifer so they can send him back to the cage, but it backfires and Lucifer takes Rowena prisoner after making Crowley disappear.
The boys and Mary have some bonding time back at the bunker. It is a little awkward for all of them. Sam gives her John’s journal to help her with some of the questions she has, and they hug after he tells her that having her there fills in the biggest blank of all for him.

Next week’s episode sees Castiel teaming with Crowley to go after Lucifer and the boys go on a hunt with their mom.
