Legendarium TV Recap: Supernatural (Season 12, Episode 8)

Supernatural- Season 12 Episode 8- Lotus

The midseason finale was interesting.  Lucifer possesses a priest and then jumps into the president of the United States. He gets the president’s lover pregnant. Castiel informs her and the others that she now carries the spawn of Satan. She does not believe them at first. The boys are arrested.

Dean and Sam meet Mr. Ketch when he shows up in the town they are in. They then learn more about the British Men of Letters from Mr. Ketch. He tells them that he’s there to help them get rid of the monsters that are in the United States, and that all they have to do is call and he will come to where they are. They aren’t sure if they should believe him. They finally catch up with Lucifer and put a plan together that will use a weapon Mr. Ketch has loaned them. They work with Castiel, Crowley, and Rowena to try to send him back to the cage. Rowena uses the spell they need to send him back after Sam gets him to leave the president’s body. Lucifer swears to Sam it is not over. The four of them watch as he escapes through an air vent.

Dean and Sam stay behind with the unconscious president. They are arrested by the Secret Service for attempting to kill the president. The president’s lover gives Castiel the slip. Crowley and Rowena disappear after Lucifer escapes.

Coming up…

The show returns January 26, 2017. When it returns, Castiel and Mary are looking for the boys who have been locked up in a government facility for over six weeks.
